You know you're owned by your pets when...

 

1. Their share of the bed is larger than yours...
2. They are the largest beneficiaries of your Last will and testament
3. You give yourself a charley horse trying to avoid disturbing a sleeping cat when you get out of bed
4. You spend more time talking with your pets than talking with your friends
5. Your bird doesn't fly where he wants to go he points his beak in the direction and you take him there
6. You find yourself buying and brewing tea that is not your favorite but the bird's favorite
7. You start saving his favorite bites of food and putting them to the side of the plate.
8. Even though you are vegetarian you buy fresh chickens and roast them because your dog will not eat anything else.
9. They have more outfits to wear than you do
10. You decline a date because you do not want to leave your pet on it's own at night.
